Bali Schedule 

Day 1: Arrival in Bali

  • Afternoon: Arrival at ‘I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.’ We will arrange a taxi to take you to our retreat center in Ubud. Upon arrival, you will settle into your rooms.
     
  • Evening: Welcome dinner and introductions, where we will go over the retreat schedule, set personal intentions for the week, and briefly discuss yoga philosophy. The evening will end with a short guided meditation to help ground you after your journey and open your heart to the transformative week ahead.

Day 2: Grounding in the Earth Element

  • Morning:

    Theme: Stability, Connection, and Grounding
    We’ll begin with a Hatha Yoga session focusing on grounding and stability. Morning meditation will be centered on the Earth element and the root chakra.
    Intention: Reflect on what it means to feel grounded in yourself and in your surroundings.

  • Afternoon:

    Workshop on the Philosophy of Yoga: A deep dive into how the principles of yoga connect to everyday life and our spiritual journeys.
    Journal Prompt: What are the roots in your life that give you strength? How can you deepen them?

  • Evening:

    Gentle Yin Yoga and pranayama practice to calm the body and mind. We’ll end the day with a sunset hike to Ubud’s beautiful rice fields to feel more connected to the earth.


Day 3: Flow with the Water Element

  • Morning:

    Theme: Fluidity, Adaptability, Letting Go
    We will begin the day with an early sunrise hike, followed by a Vinyasa Flow class focusing on the Water element and fluid movement in the body.
    Intention: Practice adapting to change and flowing through life’s challenges with ease.

  • Afternoon:

    A refreshing hike to a nearby waterfall, where participants will experience the cleansing energy of water.
    Reflection: How can you bring more flow into your life? Let go of control and embrace change.

  • Evening:

    Hip-opening and flexibility-focused yoga, followed by a water element meditation on the power of release. We will end with a journaling session on personal experiences related to adaptability and letting go.


Day 4: Ignite the Fire Within

  • Morning:

    Theme: Passion, Transformation, Discipline
    Fire element asanas (dynamic and powerful) will build heat and energy in the body. Morning pranayama will focus on breath control to stoke the inner fire.
    Intention: Where can you apply more passion and discipline in your life?

  • Afternoon:

    Balinese cooking class—a creative way to channel the Fire element through the transformation of food.
    Journal Prompt: What personal transformation are you experiencing right now?

  • Evening:

    Yin Yoga to balance the heat with deep stretching, followed by a discussion on the Niyama Tapas (Discipline). We'll discuss how fire purifies and transforms, and how to use discipline to foster personal growth. The evening will end with a reflection on what you want to burn away in your life to create space for transformation.


Day 5: Breath of the Air Element

  • Morning:

    Theme: Expansion, Lightness, Self-Inquiry
    After traveling to a new retreat center deep in Bali’s tropical rainforest, we will settle into our new space with an expansive, breath-focused yoga practice.
    Intention: Embrace openness and inquiry—what do you want to expand in your life?

  • Afternoon:

    A group discussion on the Niyama Svadhyaya (Self-Study). We will focus on how self-inquiry is the gateway to understanding ourselves and the universe. Learn the art of silent meditation to quiet the mind and connect with the breath.
    Journal Prompt: What have you learned about yourself on this journey?

  • Evening:

    A short hike around the new resort, followed by the start of a 40-hour silent meditation, during which you’ll practice introspection and mindfulness.
    Reflection: How does silence allow you to connect more deeply with your inner self?


Day 6: Connection with the Ether Element (Space)

  • Morning:

    Theme: Embracing the Unknown, Openness, Letting Go of Ego
    A gentle yoga practice, done in silence, focusing on heart-opening asanas to cultivate a sense of spaciousness.
    Intention: Let go of ego and embrace the vastness of the universe.

  • Afternoon:

    Silent self-reflection. Spend the day walking through nature, practicing mindfulness, and reflecting on the Ether element, the space that holds everything.
    Journal Prompt: How can you create more openness and spaciousness in your life?

  • Evening:

    Guided meditation on letting go of the ego and embracing the mystery of the universe. The day ends with silence, creating space for deep connection and inner peace.


Day 7: Breaking the Silence & Integration

  • Morning:

    We begin with a gentle yoga flow and closing meditation session, still in silence. The silence will then be broken with a mindfulness circle where participants can share their insights and experiences.
    Intention: How will you integrate the lessons from this retreat into your everyday life?

  • Afternoon:

    Reflection workshop on the five elements and how they can be used to maintain balance in life. We will discuss practical steps for applying the teachings of the retreat when you return home.
    Journal Prompt: What tools from this retreat will help you live a more balanced life?

  • Evening:

    A closing ceremony with a fire ritual to symbolize letting go of the past and embracing transformation, followed by a celebratory group dinner.


Day 8: Departure and Farewell

  • Morning:

    Final Elemental Yoga class integrating all five elements, followed by a farewell breakfast. Taxis will be arranged to take participants back to Ubud and the airport.

Inclusions

Accommodation:

4 nights stay at a serene homestay/retreat center at Ubud and 3 nights at a tropical rainforest resort.

The prices given are for shared rooms. If you want a single room let us know.

Meals:

Daily vegetarian meals (breakfast & lunch except till we go to the Tropical Rainforest Resort, over here we will have food all three times). Bali has cafes everywhere and we have seen that people like to explore on their own too. So that is why we are letting you explore dinner. But make sure to eat easily so that we can have our Yoga Session in the morning.

Airfare:

International and domestic flights to and from Bali are not included.

Travel Insurance:

Participants are encouraged to purchase their travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip , and personal belongings.

Personal Expenses:

Any extra meals, snacks, or beverages outside the provided meals.
Personal shopping or souvenirs.

Spa Services:

Massages or additional spa services at the resort.

Visa & Entry Requirements:

Visa fees (if applicable) and any other personal documentation requirements like passport renewals.
 

Optional Excursions:

Any optional excursions or tours not mentioned in the schedule (e.g., extra tours or activities outside the retreat itinerary).

Alcoholic Beverages:

Alcohol is not included or encouraged during the retreat to maintain clarity of mind.

Important Things for travelling to Bali

Travel Documents:

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the travel dates.
Check if you need a visa for Indonesia and apply accordingly.

Vaccinations & Health Precautions:

Consult your healthcare provider about recommended vaccinations and health precautions before traveling to Bali.
It is recommended to bring any personal medications or supplements you may need.

What to Pack:


Yoga wear: Comfortable clothes for yoga practice (light, breathable fabrics).
Swimwear: For visits to the waterfall and pools.
Casual clothing: Light layers for warm weather and cooler nights.
Shoes: Comfortable hiking shoes or sandals for the excursions.
Sun protection: Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses.
Insect repellent: To prevent bug bites, especially during hikes.
Water bottle: A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during the retreat.

Money Matters:

Bali uses Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Bring some local currency for small purchases and tips, though many places accept credit cards.
ATM machines are widely available in Ubud.

Weather & Climate:

Bali enjoys warm, tropical weather. Pack light, breathable clothing for the daytime and a light jacket for cooler evenings.
Expect occasional rainfall, especially during hikes.

Cultural Sensitivity:

Bali is a deeply spiritual island. Please dress modestly when visiting local temples or cultural sites.
Respect the local culture, customs, and traditions.

Internet & Connectivity:

Most accommodations will provide Wi-Fi, but it may not be as fast or reliable as you are used to. Use this opportunity to disconnect from the digital world and immerse yourself in the retreat experience.

Full payment in advance 30 days prior to the retreat start date.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made 30 days before the retreat will receive a 90% refund of the total retreat cost.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat will not receive a refund.

Health & Fitness:

Participants should be in good health and capable of participating in physical activities (yoga, hiking).

Any health issues or special needs should be communicated prior to the retreat.

Travel Insurance:

All participants are strongly recommended to have valid travel insurance, including medical and cancellation coverage.

Personal Responsibility:

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and well-being during the retreat.

The retreat organizers are not liable for any injuries, loss, or damages sustained during the retreat.

Changes in Schedule:

The retreat schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances or the vibe of the group.
